Looks like it's about time to pull the trigger on a new chip truck. Looking to buy new (I know I'm going to cry) but I just don't want the headache of used anymore. I'm looking for an F650 (or similar class 6), standard cab, w/ a 16' metal chip box that stops ~4' from the dump bed doors. Other than SouthCo, what are some other good chip box manufacturers? Any crappy ones to steer clear of? Any recommendations/tips/suggestions are greatly appreciated as this will be our main truck for the next 10 years or so...

I went with an international 4300 with an Arbortech body, and I'm happy with the design and service.

I had the platform put on after the dump body (but made sure frame was long enough for it). My box is only 11' though.

I have a 650tx Vermeer, which will fit through a 36" gate. It is also shorter in length then the newer 725tx. Attachment wise I only have a branch manager grapple (with the scoops and rake attachment), Mulch bucket, and pallet fork.

I prefer the joystick control versus paddle control. It is easier to control, and more grass friendly imo.

I have a bunch of videos on my YouTube page showing off the mini and the BMG.
