took down a dead scots pine last week. didnt think much about the squirell(sp?) buzzing me on its way out of the tree, until i faced up the top and was about to drop it when i saw the nest.

now i have FOUR(god help me) baby squirells to raise. they are just now crawling around and talking. cant wait till they grow up and i dont have to feed and stimulate their waste removal every four hours..... its like raising two human babies at once, that will grow up to chew on my trees!

will have the old lady put some pics up this weekend.

next time just get a box and put a white shirt or towel or something in it and put the babies in it and leave it on the ground where the tree was and mommy will come get them after you are gone, they build like five nest a year just for relocating if needed, you can also relocate the nest to the nearest tree and she'll find it when they start crying for her to come feed them..

I like a squirel milkshake.

I raised a few critters myself but now realize that there is a heck of a lot of squirels

You'll have them for a while if the Ms. is helping you raise them. We raised them before and they are a hoot. Talk about curtain climbers, they can make a lap around a room faster than you ever thought possible.lol They are hilarious, they'll be up and running before you know it.
