Hi everyone, my name is Carl and I recently started collecting vintage chainsaws. I've been reading various threads and posts on this forum for the last month or so and figured I'd join up.
I love anything that's old. Cars, trucks, dirtbikes, tractors, chainsaws, music, houses, people, haha! I started off working on cars as a hobby years ago, got into drag racing, then got into dirtbikes, then tractors, now chainsaws. I seem to enjoy finding old stuff that's basically done for and then bring it back to life. I've restored my 1972 Chevy Nova over the course of many years, restored several vintage dirtbikes, fixed up my old 1949 Farmall Cub tractor, and now recently picked up a few vintage non-running chainsaws and got them up and running again.
I like the old Poulans and Pioneers. I have a few old Poulans that I'm working on and I recently got an old Craftsman Roper saw up and running again. Currently, I'm working on a Pioneer 620 that I acquired last weekend. I can tell I'm going to be collecting more saws as time goes on haha!
Hope to learn a lot on here and hopefully contribute/help out others as well!
Here's a few photos of my saws that I've picked up so far:
