Stumbled across this page while trying to figure out how to fix a wood chipper I have. Looking forward to picking the brains of people who hopefully have the answers to my questions.

I have an 1994 Altec WC-612 with some sort of v6 Ford motor. Bought it knowing that it ran and chipped since I tested it but that it would periodically shut off. A flip of the key seemed to fix that.
Well it sat for a few months in my shop and it would only run for a few seconds then shut off. So I did a full service on it. Now it won’t start at all. Also found a very pinched fuel line so I replaced all that. I have verified that it has fuel to the rail. A noid light shows at least one injector gets signal. I have fuel to the rail. Will only run on staring fluid right into the intake.
I’m about to pull the intake and injectors. Would be nice to know what engine it is so I can get parts. Altec has no engine info since it’s so old.
