New here, Intro and a question (need a second saw)

A while back I had to resurrect a CS4600 that my wife's Grandpa used/abused 'til it wouldn't work anymore. It runs good and works OK since I fixed it up but that is one cheaply built saw. Everything about it seemed cheap and flimsy compared to my Stihls. My Dad has an old 602VL that he bought new and has been running for about 30 years now and it has been a darn good saw. I can't say the same for today's Echo saws.
