Now that won't do - you need to tell us about yourself. How many saws and what color, what kind of axe/maul you prefer, what kind of stove you use, and most important of all, what oil mix is best???

Well now.. be kind now. This is my third year now heating with wood. Second year with pur new insert. We have a 3100i acc quadrafire insert. I have an Echo cs400 i use an a couple old hand me down craftsmans. When i was younger my dad would scold me for snapping handles and chipping them. So i learned to try and treat axes and mauls well. Have few old keen cutters, twp collins. Cheap figerglass 8lb maul. Had brother make me up a 10lb monster maul, all-steel handle. Thanks for the interest!

My input is that there are lots of great saws out there, some crappy ones. a little searching here and knowing what you are gonna do with it will send you on your way. I own almost all husky's but being blinded by brand loyalty is dumb. whatever you like and fits your needs dude.

first just innocently lurking, maybe checking out the tradin' post...then its just buying a couple parts to fix a saw....then, why not just buy the parts saw......before you know it you will be buying saws you dont really "need" and may never use.....this is where i am... not sure what comes next....
