Thanks for the link! I may just give this a try. Haven't done this much with a 2 cycle before, but have ripped into and rebuilt several small and big block chevy's before. Just have to pay attention.. and maybe wear my glasses... I mean, how hard could it be? it's not like mixing the right amount of oil to fuel...

I've used the same oil for 40 years, Golden Spectro. Anything that gets mixed goes into 1-gal coleman fuel cans for storage, 77cc/1-gal 50:1. If I mix up a bunch it's still all the same method. I use a chemists graduated cylinder to measure unless I'm doing 5-gal at a time then it's the whole bottle. The 100LL AV gas is blue so only gets greener on mixing. If I have any doubts about a can it goes into a 1940 9N ford and that burns almost anything except water.
