THe 038 series saw still is a real popular saw around my area with the firewood cutters.
I could make make some room for one of those 381's. :hmm3grin2orange:

Me too... You almost never see a bad bottom end on a 038!

Yes I'm still wanting an 038 MAG I just will have to wait till a more monetarily productive time of the year...already spent up most of teh toy budget. Its cool they still offer them in Brazil. Did you all see Dan-Tor's last post? Apparently the 381 fills the same spot in the lineup that the 440/441 fills here, as it is totally absent from the Argentine Stihl offerings. Perhpas I will roll teh dice on a bad one from ebay or a wore out one from a local tree cutter, maybe go with a new jug and piston if need be.
