I hail from the swamps of Maryland. I'm an engineer by trade but I love to tinker with everything from woodworking and metalworking equipment to cars and small power equipment. I joined as a paid member because this site has been a huge help on how to restore and maintain saws, run an Alaskan Mill, etc. AS has usually been the first and best result for my searches on these topics, so I thought I'd stop lurking and contribute to the community.
