Wouldn't mind having an extra top end in my stash. Is the decomp button on the left side of the cylinder (starter side of the saw)? Think that changed during production at some point. thanks

I think it's on the right/clutch side, but I'll double check Monday. Pretty sure it's the later version if that helps.

Just checked it. It is on the clutch side.

I'll check to be sure when I get home, but I think mine is the newer version on the starter side. I built the saw from a 6400 that had it on the clutch side, so maybe I've still got the plastics for that to make it work. I'll get back to you, thanks for looking.

I looked at my 79cc 6421 today. It has the decomp hole in the plastic on the flywheel side, but the cylinder decomp is on the clutch side. So if you never use the decomp anyway, it would still work for you
