New Pacific Helmet and Muffs

Just got new pacific helmet with the jonsared muffs. Worked with them today and did not like how the muffs do not fit under the helmets. As a result, sounds are not reduced sufficiently.


Has anyone else had this problem or am I missing out on something here?

Sounds like a possible adjustment issue. Could you have the helmet sitting too low on your head?

I use Tiger TAils for ear protection so clearance isn't an issue.

i like my husky helmet with ear protection fits great. when i'm just bucking logs or cutting firewood i use a pair of stilh ear muffs.

I have the peltor muffs and had to bend the wires a tad.

I find if I make sure the chin straps are not under the pads, I get a better "weld" with the cussions.

thgey are a bit of a tight fit im using bilsoms on mine they only just fit

whatever you do dont buy oregon climber helmets ,i had 1 for a week and the visor split ..i was going to buy a few good job i didnt..my last helmet was a husky but some how i melted the top of it..must have put it on an exhaust
