New Saw

Will be trying a different stihl shop today. Want to start it up on the good oil if I can

If stihl can't help you get onto Matt, he's got the good oils

Have managed to get some from Stihl, but I think that I will get in touch with Matt anyway. Dont want to run this saw on crap oils or fuels. Even the McCulloch is going to benefit from this

Double posting here, but it is a special moment.....

Fuelled up and started up the saw this afternoon to see what I have got in my hands. Took a few pulls to fire, but I think it was pulling fuel through up the fuel line. Then it fired straight into life, and settled down to a healthy burble. Gave it a rev and it quickly builds revs and then a slight trace of 4 stroking at the top end............beautiful.

Was planning to take the McCulloch bush next weekend until I sort out storage in the 4wd for the Stihl (Bugger is 25mm too long from the back door to the cargo barrier) but the heart is saying "take the stihl"
