The Nati, Oh Hi, Yo
New Sherrill and Baily's catalogs are out. I just bought a new bar dresser file, some split tails, a diameter tape, some lime green throw line, a fungi book, some bean bags, some biners, and a laser pointer.

Got my eye on a laser pointer attachment for my big shot and a new sling/pouch, an electric bar dresser filer (Baily's), and a few other things.

I have seen a notepad that you can write even if it is raining but can't find it in either catalog. Anyone know where to find this and how well it works for bidding in the rain?

How about talking about some other products and wish lists or soon to be ordered or disappointments?

I've been watching for the new Sherrill catalog in the mail. Already got my Wesspur catalog. Baily's never sends me one.

I just ordered an 18', 3/4 stable braid eye sling for rigging big wood. I have a tied eye sling made of stable braid and a Tenex sling but I have started to favor a cow hitch for attaching my sling, which I can't do on most large trees with the slings I've got. I needed a longer sling.

I also ordered another steel core flip line to replace the one I wore out (cut), 180' of fling it throw line, another throw weight and a couple of biners.

I ordered from Wesspur but checked Sherrill prices as well. They didn't have the size eye sling I wanted and decided to order everything from Wesspur so I could get free shipping for ordering over $150.

On the wish list:

Porty
A couple more biners
another block
GRCS
Some SRT related items (croll)

And a lot of other stuff that I can't think of right now...

Oh yeah, a Wraptor... :D

Sherrill had them in their bargain basement so I'm guessing they don't carry them anymore. Gempler's has them. I'm not sure how well they work but I think I'll get some too. The job I'm working now is a 30+ tree job I bid in a rainstorm in Nov. I had to work from the carbon copies of the bid sheets. Sometimes with a back light, looking in a mirror. It looked like an FBI crime lab.

hahaha  that is exactly what I am talking about.

Used to be like a desert around here, now it is the rain forest..Global wetting I suppose.
