What size bar do you plan running with your 460 and are you running an aux oiler?

We are using a 42" on the stihl and yes i have a aux oiler just having mounted it.

Change the handle around to the trailing side of the mill, it will push easier. Nice start to a long time pleasure.

Nice to see somebody else get started. I built my first chain mill out of steel. With the Sthil 084 and a 60" bar it weighed about 150 lbs. It would wear a man smooth out. I built a platform to mount it to that takes a lot of the physical effort out of milling. I offer a lease on my blueprint so others can build their own. It also functions as a large capacity lathe(10" x 108" length), a large capacity mortise machine(24" x 96" bed, 14" vertical stroke, and a large capacity drill press.
