I was at my local guys shop monday and he had the new replacement "proto" saw for the MS460 now the 469 has anyone seen on yet. It has a sleeker look like the newer stils with the fixed jet carb. He's worried there going down the tubes since alot of the saw was plastic and all. It even has a handle like the 390. Sort of like built into it.What a sad day for stihl, I was just starting to like them again.

He did make mention that in the fall they are going to be revamping the 660 to the same style.

Last week my local Stihl dealer, whom I've relied on for years, was unhappy after having just returned from a dealer symposium at the Stihl regional office. He indicated unless Stihl made some changes he'd have to consider other representation. I told him he should become a Dolmar dealer instead. He seemed a bit taken by my comment and said the 7900 has not gone unnoticed.

Things that make you go hmmmmm.

The MS 469 eh?? Has a nice ring to it.......I wonder if the will start putting plastic oil pumps on em? Maybe make it so the run on 100:1 oil? No more bar oil needed either......

Ladies and Gentlemen.........its april fools day.

ah ha! that would explain why i couldn't find any mention on their german web site.

i feel so.....abused.

no, wait. this is Arboristsite......never mind.

I found it. It's really cool how the cup holder rotates when you tilt the saw to keep your beer from spilling. German engineering at its best!

marky dont talk about my posting any more ,if u can read that ,u surely can
figure out my mill hill lingo..:)
by the way u thot about hiring me to sell puters fer u,, yet....better yet just invest a little,, an start a buisiness dn here. im not sure i could handle the cold up there.

Yes it is a joke Russ told me to do it or he would boot from the site since he can't do that kind of stuff anoymore.

Tony in about a month or so I think I will be out of buisiness, it's on the block and there's a few new indevors I want to get into. Between mantaining my rental properties and a Gentlemans farm I want to do a little more with my time. Take on a smaller clientel and charge more for starters. I feel once I get back from South America I will start fresh.
Here's one for lambert.

Do you have any S-8 properties ? If so what problems and success have you had with them ? I have steered away from dealing HUD but I looks like that is way we will have to go with a couple of ours. Within a couple years it may get to be too many to deal with conventionly.
