I'm new to bidding clearing driveways, but I have been doing tree work for some time now. I am curious how you guys would bid a 600' driveway clearing. All wood stays, no chipping just burn piles. Thanks.

Could you be a bit more specific? How big are the trees? I figure an excavator with a hydraulic thumb, minimum.

pic's would be nice

600' x 15' = about .21 ac

you are looking about $1500 for flat land and if they want a 100' x 100' pad cleared at the end of the drive add $800 a good operator should be able to do this in 1 day :D

I'm supposed to be looking at the property early this week. I will try to get some camera phone pics, and a Little better Idea of the size of the tree's I will be dealing with. Oh, and No equipment, so the logs will be rolled to the sides of the planned driveway, and she can deal with a log truck.
