Im in poughkeepsie Ny. I plow central hudson, they told me the latest outage was 160K the other day. THere is lots of tree damage just south of here, anybody want leads on work can pm me.

For those trees with just branch damage and not trunk damage, consider just cutting the damaged ends back this trip. Then you can schedule a GTG in the summer of 2014 for restoration pruning!

Wappinger Falls and East Fishkill were hit very hard. I was down there yesterday in the wifes subaru clearing driveways etc. It was difficult though lots of tight roads and trees down. Good Luck everyone. Lots of work there..... Mike

So this is real, I think that it is VERY COOL, to see you guys go into action, start coordinating your deployments and mobilize all you equipment so fast, VERY COOL INDEED.
If you all ever needed help, let me know, would love to go on one of these. Had the opp to go to Katrina, guy who was contracted wanted me out there real bad, then they froze the money! This has been a test of the treeslayer warning system. Had this been a real emergency, I would have been all over the storm with a large scale operation.

Oh, don't be mistaken, we have been known to mobilize pretty fast around here. However, it is usually coordinated through PMs and the employment forum.
