Newbie has a question

I'm new here and have a question: I assume that you can post pictures here and was wondering how to do it, can you load them directly or do you have to use a pic posting service like photobucket? Can someone tell me exactly how to do it? Thanks, Matt in KY

It's pretty easy once you register a free account with Photobucket. Once you register with them, you upload your photo's to their site. Then you highlight the "IMG" under the photo you wish to use. Then, go to "edit" at the top of your screen and select "copy". Now, post a message in a thread and go back to "edit" at the top of your screen again and select "paste". That should put the photo you selected from Photobucket into your post.

Here we go again dude, lol.

when posting a reply, look at the bottom of screen, go to manage attachments, a box will open up. You might have to turn off pop-up-blockers, depends. Click browse, got to where your pix are, i.e. desktop, then double click the picture. Click upload. It will tell you when it's attached under attachements below where you clicked browse. When it's done, close it and click post reply... Lemme know if you need more details...

Yeah, like that! One of my other hobbies is building model airplanes and I'm pretty active on a modeling forum and we post pics all the time, I have a photobucket acount and mainly just wondered if posting pics was done in the same manner on this forum. I really appreciate the info, thanks again!
