I have read all of the old threads, and have found this site to be the
most ki ck-a ss chainsaw site.

I have inherited a large tree company, and I have 1 question....

How can I tell of the chain is on the right direction?

I know this is a stupid question, but you guys are great!!!!!

I love you guys...................

Now,as to elaboratge on Larry's comment, to be truely left handed, the bar must be mounted upside down AND backwards to function properly!!! Kinda like a womans brain upsidedown and backwards!!!

Yeah, real brave saying that from the anonymity of the Internet! Let's see you say that in front of a Nordstrom's!

Why, right after the sale was over, they'd tear you apart!

These guys make a big deal out of getting the chain on right but I find that after 40-50 hours of sawing that they cut the same either direction so no big deal just put-er-on.

For smoooooooooth cut mount the chain inside out - you'll need three bars - one for each side and a smaller in the middle for the groove. Then sharpen the tangs for best performance.

Well if if my bar is mounted upside down and backwards and my brain works that way as well so in reality I think that a rightside up frontwards mount is correct but the bar supposed to be upside down and backwards... then HA HA HA... I will be the one cutting right!!
He he

Ummm... I forgot, I'm right handed
