*shrug* say what you want, reduced kickback chain on a small saw like that vs just a semi chisel, not really any noticeable difference in performance, its about where you keep your rakers and how sharp you keep your saw
but i often 1hand, and sometimes very close to myself or my ropes at very awkward angles, ill take the reduced kickback, thank you
and as far as your stihl climbers go, you can keep those pieces of crap, the handle sucks, the balance sucks, the switch placement sucks
echo starts better
with an echo you got close to 4 more inches of reach because i have handle still where you have carb
i never inadvertently kill my saw with my thumb
i never have to change my grip to turn my echo off
the only time i _need_ two hands on my saw is when i start it
youre in a tree with a saw, safe is better

Echos are a POS worth nothing better then a back up saw at best. The chains tension device is seated in plastic and wount hold up for a commercial use saw.

I have an almost new 330t Ill sell you for $200

were talking about a 30cc say with a 14inch bar
plastic... heh
i get 2years on average out of mine before i retire them as tired and use them for parts, and i cut 5 days a week
you dont like echo, i dont like the 200t, worse i hate them, you couldnt give me one to climb with, id use it for as long as i needed to to buy a new echo
in fact i have
echo cs341, FTW!

Dont get me wrong the 330t cuts great for the price, its balanced well and runs well. It just wont hold up. My 330t has very few hours in it and had almost none when I had to start putting spacers in to make the chain tension device keep working. Maybe the 341 is better made but it in no way will compare to a 200t and your kidding yourself by saying it will.

341 is the original design top handle saw from echo, the one they discontinued when they started building the rear carboratated models
its back and in so tickled :)
remove my 341 from the equation id likely climb with a 200t
or more likely the husqvarna t435
they do have a great deal more power, a 341 is closer to a 192

For a top handle the MS 200T is the most robust for it's size hands down. The only 2 things that could be better and this is being a nit picker is #1 the side to side balance could be a bit nicer. I find the Echo better in this regard. And #2 the saw is a bit block like and more bulky feeling than the Echo. But even still performance wise and durability the MS 200T is King. I have them all and others agree not just me. Almost all of my other saws are Husky's and for good reason they are built tougher and run longer. With the exception of the older Stihl's that were built like tanks but you needed to use both hands with them as they were heavy. Then they went to that stupid ass flippy thingy that pissed me off!
