Last time I checked with him(within the last month or so), he hadn’t changed prices and still had the 1201, 288xp, 372xp and the 660.

The 1201 is on my bucket list. I am still waiting for the proverbial rich uncle to kick it so I can buy from Robin! I have milled with an 880 and the 3120, and the oiler on the 3120 wins it for me. I don't know about the oiler performance on the 1201.
The 1201 wins it on looks, though, IMO!

I think you will find porting will not help all that much. That era of saw was hot from the factory.

9hp after mod, ton more torque at low end. Pretty scary saw to run especially with aggressive chain lol
