Shipping is what's killer.
Think about it: look at the price difference between an ECHO 8000 vs. a Stihl 461 stateside.
loggers usually hold tight to their saws no matter how the company is doing
when they want to let it go, something must be up
i've seen a cs1200 for sale before from a logger
man that was 1 beat up saw, i wonder how it can still possibly run
the discoloration and dents, cracks is beyond imagination
like heath said even if its a good deal, you can run from shipping
thats why i dont recommend buying used saw, unless of course if its
low hour good condition saw
