sure looks like a shelf queen to me, i'd leave it un-gassed and put it on the shelf.. :msp_thumbup:
i have one on the bench now the carb looks like a real PITA to work on though

Yeah, I agree..a shelf queen..

Or run it until it croaks..!!

For the $40 ya got in it..I'd run it..it ain't no collector item..!!

You can't even buy a re-furb Poulan 2050 for $40.

Rest assured... it is a real PITA to work on the carbs on those saws

i would say that the safety chain back then PROBABLY didnt work any better than todays does!

Nice! I'd be tempted to keep it as a shelf queen, or sell it to a Skilsaw collector. My Skilsaw 16xx saws are going to get used.

That's sweet! It's a dead ringer for the first saw my Dad had and the first one I ever tried to fix (ignition module was shot so I'm sure the thing got tossed somewhere along the way). Nice pictures BTW, I saved them for the memories!

They were made by Frontier. About 10 different brands of the same saw around. I'd keep it on the shelf, very nice.
