8000ft elevation and cold water = killer brookies in the small lakes and huge lake trout in the big lakes I would have to count them again but I beleave that we have 35 lakes in the lakes basin area

Beautiful country. I love the Blue Ridge but the one thing I miss here in Virginia is real mountains - the Rockies.
