That pic with the P/52 has me wondering....Is that the equivalent to the PP 455? If not..which one is?
Gregg,
I think the only two in that displacement were the Poulan 455 and the Pioneer Partner P45
PP405 is the 65cc saw like the P42

Gregg,
Anybody doing anything fun or saw related today? I will be working 13 hours today and 10 hours tomorrow so let me know what ya'll are doing so I can live vicariously through you this weekend
Or do you hat what's his name is and bolt an 038 top end on
Ugh, forgot about the 405. My mistake.I think the only two in that displacement were the Poulan 455 and the Pioneer Partner P45

I know 475 was a jred. Wasn't there a smaller rebadged jred too?
Sorry for the derail... I know it's not a poulan
Check and see what type that is. If it's a type 3 it's 61cc. Take a pic of the cyl head, if it has vertical fins its 61cc. Not a slouch if it's a 3.4 saw eitherThe price was cheap enough so I took a gamble and picked up a 3450 yesterday. Looks rough but there is not a scratch anywhere under the dirt. That made me think it was scored along with the bad pull feel. Unfortunately, I was right. Have you ever seen a regular 3450 Timbermaster with the purple plastics. I'm thinking someone did a swap with Bad Boy parts. But, you never know with Poulan... B/C also look new but have rust - nothing a good soak of WD40 can't take care of. I mainly wanted for the different set up of the larger carb, intake and muffler for a p/c that I am thinking about porting. View attachment 485909
Yup. If you look at serial # if it has a 3 at the end it's 61cc.Check and see what type that is. If it's a type 3 it's 61cc. Take a pic of the cyl head, if it has vertical fins its 61cc. Not a slouch if it's a 3.4 saw either
Boy it is cold here! I just took the '84 for a ride into town, it fired on the third try after some pumping and wasn't very happy about it for the first few minutes but it smoothed out and ran good. My wife's new pathfinder wasn't too impressive and its 6 months old. The wood stove is loaded and we are happy to have it tonightView attachment 486083View attachment 486084
There's another, the 425 I believe. 3000FPS let me cut with his 475 at a GTG. That is a very, very fast saw in stock form.

Oh. It's about 1* outside right now.

The 425, 445, and 505 siblings are cousins of the 415 and 475.
Purple 54cc 3450's are pretty common. I have had 5-6 of them. The price was cheap enough so I took a gamble and picked up a 3450 yesterday.
