I am not sure,i can measure it tomorrow.Its like this since i got it (maybe it was May 2013 iirc) and it has 30 tanks or so since then,piston is like when i got it,like new.I never got the chance to dig into it but how is this movement possible?

How much movement does it have, my 4200 has. 009 thou . There isn't any way to adjust it so I just let it run.
On my 4200 I cut some brass shim stock to make bearing spacers that went behind the bearing, though it was going to be about. 006 but came out to. 009. Maybe if I tighten the case bolts again I might get it to be better. My shim stock was. 006 and one on each side. It was way loose at the start when I got it. Your clearance may be different

Hi Tim,you are right.Some family and work stuff kept me away.I am really happy to be back and even more to see you are still around.I was a lurker around the forums for quite some time,i just didn't have the time to mess with saws and replay here.I only wish Modifiedmark,OhioGregg,rms61moparman and a couple others still be around.I hope they and their families are ok.I hope the same for you Tim.
