Does anyone know of another Poulan model that the clutch cover will work on a 2175 Wild Thing? The cover is damaged at the chain tensioner and I can't get the chain adjusted properly. It's one without the chain brake.
Guy I know has a 3750 badboy for sale in my FB group. Honest seller lives about a 1.5hrs north of me.

Wow your lucky day. I know a guy in NC just showed me one. He was asking how much he should sell for. Which I told him what I sold them for over the years. So it wont be stupid like you see these folks selling and buying at today.
It's not perfect or a shelf queen looker. But looks all there with decals I could see from few pics.

So check your NC FB marketplace and craigslist etc. If you cant find it I will contact him in my chainsaw repair group FB and get info for ya to contact him at.

Some of my past ones.
I am in need of a recoil starter pulley for a Sears Craftsman 358.351202 which of course was made by Poulan and is a 3.1 cubic inch. The part number is 500337054.
I suppose it was also used on a number of Poulan models. This saw was made around 1997.

It is showing as No longer available, no doubt one of the many parts Husqvarna discontinued after acquiring Poulan. I assume I will need to find someone sitting on a new one or get a used one from a junk saw

With that hand guard on the one your calling 3000 3300. Unless been added could be a 2700.

2700, 3000, 3300
it very well could be, but the craftsman has way more compression then my 2700 and I doubt my 2700 is wore out it's in great shape besides the decal on the recoil cover and a bit of fading on the top cover. but I've also never cut with the craftsman as one of the bar studs is busted probably beyond repair and it's missing a couple other parts. my plan was to swap the top end off the craftsman thinking that it was a 3000, but obviously if it's a 2700 there's no point.

I thought you were calling the green one a 3000 3300.

If talking about the grey one, it could be a 2.8 3.0 3.3 and all bare bore. I can tell by 358. # if correct top cover on it.

Actual 3000 is chrome bore thin rings and bare piston like normal. None in grey.

But I call them that too just because some get upset over it ;). 3.0 49cc bare bore with a chromed piston.

Wrong part number

But if saw the 3.3 black with blue decals that is a sweet saw. Just like the 335 predator without chain brake.

I have 1 whole saw left pending payment with that pulley. So GL.

yeah I was talking about the craftsman, but anyway I pulled the muffler cover off the craftsman and it's a bare bore, I will try to get the number from the top cover I'm sure that it's original because it has the "solid state ignition" decal sears was so proud of.
