Completely different, people are like cc classes of saws. Not basic components that are externally identical but do not interchange.

I know that the intake is a weak spot but is you look at it like this..... It last for a good long time if properly assembled. So to me if it lasts as long as a carb kit/fuel line/filter then it's good enough for a saw. Im all for stuff that lasts forever but this design is decent enough for me
