Barring any unfortunate circumstances, I can't think of anything I'd like better.

Well I could, but seeing as how I'm married it wouldn't be right of me to act on it.:ices_rofl: :ices_rofl:

Hoss,
It would be very cool to see those older saws. The only old Mac I've ever seen was my dad's 610. This GTG's gonna be jumpin!

:rockn:

April 14-15 ?

How about the weekend of the 14th and 15th of April?

Now seeing how I've never been to a GTG or any saw competion for that matter. What will I need for setup?

How about races? Are they sanctioned by a governing body of some kind?
It would be cool to have organized races if someone can point me in the right direction.

The offer of 8x8's and 10 x 10"s would be fantastic.

As for food I have some fresh ham's from some hogs we just butchered if someone knows how to smoke em' ( I tried once and it ended up being pulled for bar'b'que) Their about 40 lbs. a piece.I'm great at burgers and deer meat on the grill.

Okay everybody give me the education I need to get this off the ground.

Numbers?

Also anyone planning to attend please PM me so I can try and get some numbers on attendance. Thanks Steve

I'm guessing we're gonna need some sawbucks. Does anyone have any kind of favorite dimensions? (height, length, etc.) How many should we have? I'd guess we'll need at least two, but maybe three?
This is gonna be fun!

Brett

Yeah the 125 mac is a beast. If you really want to see somthing you should see my 990g homelite in action. 112cc, 3to1, underdrive geartrain and 42" of mall roller tip bar. This thing actually makes the air vibrate. Also the 090 is kinda fun too. I'll make sure to have everything running and ready to cut by gtg time.:D

Hi Hoss, I bet your 990g is indeed a bad@ss saw, LOL. I really want to add a biggie saw to my collection in the near future (Mac 125 preferably, but 090 would be nice too). Hard to find though in my neighbourhoud, and if one shows up, they are veryyy expensive too.

Hoss, please explain your user name if possible.
As a kid, me and my brothers were big fans of Bonanza western series and used to play them all the time. My eldest brother used to play the big fella Hoss, the middle one was Butch, and I was little Joe :( LOLOL, those were the days....
Any connection with that particular Hoss???

Hey Belgian, people have asked about the "Bonanza" conection before but as far as I know there is none. I am a pretty fair sized fella though. I don't know what shipping would be to Belgium from California ( it may be prohibitively expensive) but MacDaddy on this sight has got a bunch of running Mac 125 power heads for sale at $300.00 apiece. Apart from shipping (witch I don't know about) this a great price for a 123cc power head. I bought mine frome him and it ran great out of the box and has needed nothing. I don't know if this helps but I thought I would put it out there.:)
