like the title says. Ready to part with this beautiful, un used specimen. Comes with its box, original warranty card, factory tools and all. It has never had fuel in it. I put a chain on it and almost used it. But couldn't bring myself to do it. One brought 711 dollars on eBay. So let's say 600 obo. I truly don't know its value. Don't be scared to make an offer. Possible trade for pro grade saw(s). Really open to about anything. Figured I'd try it here first before I put it on eBay.

Nice but not a Pro
Pro's are over-rated. The oilers have plastic worm gears instead of a metal one. Rather not have to replace a run out worm gear. And they pump just as much oil as the adjustable pumps if not more. the only other thing you're missing is a decomp that will eventually leak on compression stroke thus less power. No thanks I'll use a non-Pro.

Further more 28" bar on a 50cc saw is completely out of ballance with the saw and I don't care if it's lo=pro skip or not. there's no reason to force a saw that size to run a bar that long. The strongest by far I have ever run is a 026 ported by treemonkey and he was beating the pants off ported 350/346's. Doubt yours is more powerful than his and I would only run a 20 3/8 on his saw. Also do they even make a 28" narrow bar for 3/8 LP?

Just stating a fact ! Don't know what I said that blew your panties out but you might try a long bar sometime when nobody's looking. I use ported 50cc long bar saws for cutting Live Oak as its smaller and brushier and allows my old fat ass to cut 6-8 hrs and still walk. I have no use for short bars and when we cut cookies there 30" or larger. Also got no use for lo-pro just 3/8 sq works well. Ken

Hey guys, I couldn't help adding my two cents worth to a worth topic. I have both a 260 Pro and a 026, and both saws are in excellent condition physically and mechanically. I originally thought the 026 was a Pro when I bought it from another AS member (older red choke knob model) and it wasn't until it arrived that I realized that it did not have the adjustable oiler (it does however oil like crazy). The 026 blows 170+ and the 260 Pro is not far behind. Both saws are stock except that I have added a dual port muffler mod to the 260 Pro (I am just now getting around to doing the MM on the 026). I am running the same .325 & 18" B/C set up on both saws and I have to say that I much prefer the torque and cutting speed of the 026 over the 260 Pro. The 260 is fast, but you just can't lean on it in 12-14" fresh red oak the way you can the 026. They are both tuned by ear (and confirmed by tach) to their optimum rpm. Both are great saws for limbing and small cutting, but I usually reach for the 026 over the 260 Pro. Your mileage may vary... Scott
