Trying to clean up and not spend a lot ! I mix the ratio were there was oil coming out the muffler .Never will mix it that rich again .50 to 1 is more than needed . After running shell for years that worked .Just don't like looking at pistons that have black lung . This is the first try Lucas 2-Cycle Land & Sea Oil TC-W3 : Lucas Oil - Lucas 2-Cycle Land & Sea Oil TC-W3

Where is the oil question? Or are you just thinking and typing??? :msp_confused:

I think he wants to know what mix ratio and oil to use to clean up his saws? otherwise I think he may have had one too many beers, so I envy him.

Seems that the Lucas oil in question is Semi synth blended for use in watercooled 2t motors, not the best choice IMO for air cooled motors in saws & the like. I would chose a Full synth blended for Air cooled motors or use the oil recommended by the saw manufacturer But as in the other oil threads chose & go with what suits you as every one has their own take on this subject The bottom line is always USE SOME OIL IN THE GAS :blob2:

I use this one at 45:1 and have not had any problems the only dislike is that when mixed it isn't very blue. :D

I certainly agree with that. They should put strong dye in all 2 stroke oil, so there is no doubt the gas is premix, especially at the 50:1 or higher ratios where the oil is so diluted, the color is hard to see. A single mistake can be very costly!
