gorilla glue has successfully fixed a crack in my saw's fuel tank for the second time- preventing a long disassembly and part replacement.

Not as cool, but more of us are capable of doing it. The generic JB Weld is going on year 3 of keeping my old weedwhacker going. The Barbie Saw's rhinestones are staying on. Life is good..except I may need to work tomorrow morning. :censored: cutters are too fast.

NAPA has an epoxy called "plastic weld system", works great. It's been holding the clutch cover together on my old Husky 61 for years now.

Since I had the gorilla glue, used it an a bowl I cracked, much to the wife's chagrin (sp?). Not good. Pushed the parts apart, now glued and not water tight. Maybe JB Weld next time?

Thanks for the reminder. I need to hunt up the shoe goo. One thing it does fix is rainpants. I put shoe goo around the tear, then slap on the duck tape.
It'll hold for a while. Maybe until tin pants season which may already be here. This is the summer without a summer here.
