Trying to help a buddy with his 260 pro that somehow got the wrong gas mixture last year and now has scored cylinder. I tried to buy it from him but now I'm just helping him with the rebuild. He took it apart already. Other than the scored cylinder it seems okay. Any suggestions on what we should purchase or what to look for in further damage. It was turning over, getting gas, and sparking, but would not cut on. Don't have pics of cylinder but I can try to get them. I am assuming however that P & C are history.

Most cylinders can be recovered, most... and even if they can't, there is a seller on ebay right now with NEW OEM P&C for $65... or just the piston for $20..hell of a deal...
