I have quite a bit of 2x6 decking for my main floor, 2nd floor, and porches which will need to be tongue & grooved...I acquired some pine and got a bunch of Eucalyptus tossed in that I can make hardwood flooring with.

Picked up this dual head spindle shaper for the task...a local stair maker went bankrupt, and I was at the right place at the right time...although I bought it from a cabinet maker who bought all the equipment and was selling some of it off. This will make it easy, I'll be looking for a power feeder to add to this...

Nice find!
Looks real heavy duty....are those Baldor motors?
Please post up some pics as you make your floors.....I've been thinking about trying to get into making and installing hardwood flooring at some point and I am always looking for more info on the subject.

Hope you got a fork lift for unloading....looks heavy:D

Yes, those are Baldor motors. One is a bit larger, could be a 7 1/2HP model, and not sure my rotary phase converter will handle it...I might need to replace that one with a 5HP. I have a couple that would work for that, takes a common 184T frame.

Will do, but will probably be a few months before I get to it. I'm going to look for a power feeder to hook on this

I do have a forklift, but unfortunately it has a start problem...working on it though...:help:

I just ordered a magnetic switch that is hooked to the starter solenoid, starter was rebuilt a couple weeks ago...but problem surfaced again...my lift will handle 8,000 lbs., so take care of it no problem. This will clean up really nicely, although pretty rusty now, the table is in nice shape. Not as heavy as some of the older equipment I have, as you can see the cabinet is made from sheet metal. It is a decent piece of industrial equipment though...
