MS660 cylinder/piston options

I recently roasted my MS660. Question is, is there a reliable alternative to Stihl parts?
Also being this would be my first in depth “rebuild”, should I just buy a short block and if so which do y’all recommend? Thanks in advance.

Better to get a good used cylinder and new Stihl piston.
The next question, is the cylinder salvageable?
Not sure where you buy a short block.
If you go aftermarket, be careful.
