I am getting about 1/2 tank of bar oil per tank of fuel..............does stihl have a high output oiler for this saw???
I could be wrong but I believe the high output oiler is standard on the full wrap handle version.
Mine is stock with a 1/2 wrap handle, oiler turned all the way up and it only leaves about 1/3 tank of oil per full fuel tank. If yours is only leaving 1/2 tank might be clogged?
Just re-checked my 441. I use about 2/3 oil a tank of oil to 1 tank of fuel.
Don't get me wrong it will sling oil.............I would just like more!!!
If you use Stihl B&C, with the Oiliomatic system, that sounds like more than enough........
The wrap has the HO oiler. You can upgrade the non-wrap for less than $30 by changing the piston to 1128 647 0602 and the control bolt to 1128 647 4802
I haven't checked the 441 oil usage a while.
Ran out of fuel today. Oil reservoir had about an 1/8" left.
Would the 98 degree F weather cause it to go through oil faster? I use Stihl B & C in the orange container.
I may actually have to turn the oiler back just a tad.:jawdrop:
