I'm down in Florida on vacation. My bro-in-law knew I was interested in saws and told me about an old saw the little city museum has in it. They knew nothing about it. Thanks to Mike Acres they now know a little more than they did. The saw appears to be complete. It pulls over nicely and seems to have some compression. The 9/16" chain is in very good condition. I thought some of you old timers might enjoys some pics, so here they are.

That wasn't the only old cutting relic they had. I don't even know what this machine's called. Sure looks like a man killer though. I guess they had a reputation of kicking and taking out the operator and were consequently not made long.

BTW, this little museum is found in Century, Florida. It's right on the Alabama line in the panhandle, about an hour north of Pensacola. This is an old mill town and there's still lots of logging and paper mills around. Very stinky!
 
DA-211 Exhibition.

Good Morning,

We will be doing exhibtion cutting with 2 DA-211's and several other 2-man saws at the Lorain County, Ohio fair grounds Sept. 14-16.
