I got this old saw from a relative, but never tried to start it. Can anyone tell me who made it, and around what year? It's been takin' up space if anyone is interested.

Saw made by Mono Manufacturing Co. Springfield, Missouri. Take a look at Mike's site. Not sure what model you have, looks similar to a model 34.

I found the tag, and this saw is a Tecumsah Power Products - Mono- Mod AH58, Ser- 3571161.
