I found 2 different McCulloch models with #45 in model type on Acres site.

1-45 http://www.acresinternet.com/cscc.n...a17d413e633a549d88256b00006afbab?OpenDocument:chainsaw:

D-45 http://www.acresinternet.com/cscc.n...dc0eda1687f87c8d88256b610012e01b?OpenDocument:chainsaw:

Both date back to the early 60's. There is no illustration for the I-45 model, only the D-45. If your saw is the I-45, you might get in touch with Chain Saw Collectors Corner and provide them with some pictures of your saw.

Correction to old saw

Sorry guys. I am so new at this I gave you the wrong model number for my old McCulloch. I actually have a Model 47 not a 45. Please be patient with me as I learn. Thanks for any and all help and for the warm welcome response.

Old McCulloch Model 47

Thanks, Vince for the information about acresinternet website. I pulled up info regarding date mfg. and had a great photo of my old model 47. It was made from 1953-1956 and would be a great addition to my old 1955 Dodge pick-up that I am attempting to restore, also a work in progress. Thanks, Harold.
