I would like to dedicate this thread to all the Oldtimers out there who keep on keepin on by doing what they love to do.
Here's Newton in front of the 12 cords he bought from me today.
Newton, at 82, really likes firewood and is a wicked man with an axe.

Holy Smokes, he must be tough to be able to split wood of that length. Even here on the west coast we buck it 24" to 30" Bolts before trying to split it.

Hi Robert, Newton is real good with that axe. He demonstrated his technique, he gives a slight flick to the axe as it enters the wood and the whole 21 footer jumps right open. He has a huge 2000 gal beer vat that he uses as a woodfired boiler and heats all his water and his house. No kidding!
