I am in the market for a chainsaw. I was wondering a good all around online source to buy a saw around $350-425 (20 inchbar). Figure you guys must know which store or source is good to deal with. Thanks

buy online? why not support the dealer that provides you with support and service.

True, usually. If you are new to saws or if don't know what you're doing so you don't anticipate doing most/all of your own maintenance and repair, it is probably in your best interest to buy from a local dealer. Heck, even if you're a veteran saw user, this is probably a good choice. Even if the price is higher, it can be money well-spent to have someone who can properly prep your saw, offer a free checkup every once in a while, adjust tuning, etc.

But if you are not going to use his services, or if you intend to immediately void your warranty by modifying your saw, then what's the point of paying a penny more than is necessary?
