Opinions on Husky 257

Hi guys. I have the chance to buy a low hour Husky 257.

What can you guys tell me about this model?

How is the power compared to a Husky 266 SE? What about weight?

Any and all comments related to this saw would be very much appreciated.

The 257 belongs to the same family of saws as the 154SE, 254SE, 262xp, 254xp and 261, and should be a good servicable saw. These saws are smaller and lighter than the 266SE.
Power output was rated at about 2.7 or 2.8 kW as I recall, and it should not be in the same leage as the 266SE peformance vice.

The 257 is very good saw,but as Sawtroll said,powerwise,its not a 266.Based on the 254,but with open tranfers.Very reliable,easy to maintain,parts still available.
