I have both the 200T and the 192T. While it is not a 200 it will serve you good as a backup. I have no complaints on it and it has more power than the top handled Echo saws which are gutless.

MS192T...Nothing but problems!!!

I purchased a 192T the first of this year. Three days after I used it I had to send it back to the saw shop for repairs in the trigger. In the past ten months I have had to put it in the shop three different times costing me a fortune. I could almost buy another one with the money I have spent on repairing it. I do not recommend this saw. Do yourself a favor and stick with the 200T.

I have a 192T, not a bad saw. Definetly no power house, great for pine a spruce trees, but in hard wood it's pretty doggish. I look at it this was too, i'd rather drop a $300 saw than a $500 saw. Echo's a good saw, but check out Bailey's, they have a Solo top handle that has like 2.6 Hp for $300. I don't know much about Solo's but it might be worth looking into.

i launched a 200t out of the bucket from 65 ft once,,had an issue,, tossed the saw.... fixed the issue,, pulled the lanyard back in,, oops no saw attatched !!! there it was,,, jitter buging on the ground still running.....

don't think a 192 would have fared as well...

they seem a little cheesy , compared to the 200,, ie housing,, choke lever..etc...

whats with the fuel primer ???? why do they need that ??

few climbers i work with bought one,, they like the light weight, for pruning.. but if its taking of a big limb,, they take the 200 up... the dealer moves them out with a 12" bar,, becuase they won't pull a 14" very well...

not only is the 200 a great climbing/ bucket saw,,, it's a great ground saw,, made for production,, can't say that about the 192 the few times i have used one..

The weight and profile of the 192 with a 14" bar make it fantastic for climbs, and it goes non-stop. I've got a 192, 200 and 338 on the truck -- If I'm climbing, you better believe I'm taking the 192 because what the different saws produce with power in mind doesn't come close to what I produce with the extra mobility.

main and wentworth, and yes -- 60-90k's today in Fort Erie where I work, or should I say not work today. Are you with Bestwick?

No, Total Tree Care, I'm on the central Mountain off concession St. by the hospital.
Fort Erie is along way to go to work every day, I'm glad I dont have to travel that far...Tree

I didn't like the low profile on my 200t but if you like it, right on
The only thing I regret on buying my 200T is that I got the 14" bar.I don't care for the small chain either.I am planning on upgrading to a 16" bar soon and would like to know what bar and chain combo you are running. If I'm upgrading I'd like to get a better chain too.Did you have to change the sprocket?I must say the 200T is a great leap foward from the 3 335 Huskys I was using!

I always run a 14" bar. I'm running 63pm chain
When I went to the 63pm I didn't have to change my sprocket.

I don't want to hijack this thread but what would it take to put the ms 200 chain on the 192? Would i need a ms 200 sprocket, bar and chain to make this work on my 192?
