Good Morning all -- Has anyone ever heard of a OR Precision Engineering Chainsaw. Well I have one and it seems its made to be a pretty sturdy saw.
It has not run for at least 25 years but gas must have been left in it -- looked in fuel tank and a very thick looking sludge is in it.

My question to all -- is this saw worthy of a novice trying to rebuild, does anybody want this saw. I plan on giving it to a goodwill place maybe they can make some money on it if not worth rebuilding.

thanks

I'd find a good home for it and I wouldn't give it to goodwill - thats as good as throwing it away. They're kinda specialized little buggers, since they used so many odd and proprietary parts and the company is now long gone. The average guy who can work on 2-stroke motors will find it difficult to source or fabricate parts and the saw will likely end up back in the rubbish.
