Hello !!
A Question about Oregon power match plus bar ??
i'm thinking of buying a 15" 058" .325
my question is, will the bar fit both .325 and 3/8 if i change the nose ??

/Kristoffer

I would not count on that without comparing the different pitch bars closely, because their profile will vary with the pitch and number of teeth in the nose sprockets. Maybe the differenses is evened out between the actual tip and the point where tip and bar body meets - maybe not.

As I read the info in this link, I think that you probably can fit a 12 teeth .325" in place of the 11 teeth 3/8" nose.

It will of course not be practical to swich back and forth very often, though.......

Possible but not worthwhile (IMO). If you want to run a short bar buy the Pro Lite. By the time you purchase a PowerMatchplus and change the tip you could just about have bought 2 of the Pro lites which are lighter in weight and , due to a different metallurgy last a VERY long time.

As long as you have a seperate tip for each pitch it's no problem.

Will you need a different drive sprocket as well as nose sprocket???
Just a thought. John.

I went out and bought a ordinary Husky (Oregon) bar, I would have to wait about 2 months before Oregon could deliver it here in Sweden LOL ,,

Kipp,
What saw do you need it for? Maybe able to set you up with a bar or 2.

If you bought a replacable tip bar, it is probably Oregon.
Laminated bars sold with Husky label in Sweden, is most likely not rebadged Oregon......
