So my used 460 i just bought has what i think is called a pocket rim sprocket, from what i can gather from other threads.(3/8 7 oregon brand)
Are they fine to use on alaskan mill?
Never seen one till now, all my other stihls just have a regular type gear sprocket...
Got my mill today and assembled, now i just gotta commit to a 36" bar and ripping chain, dont wanna sound like cd skipping but whats peoples favorite setups?

Yes spur, im new to actual terms and learning everytime i ask more questions.
Thanks for the info...

They are a great feature, I use them on my sawmill. Cheap and easy to replace unlike the clutch piece.
