Ornamental Cherry Tree Wilt

I have an ornamental cherry tree that just had all of its leaves wilt. We have had significant rain so it is not drought
related. Any ideas 0n cause?

How long since it was planted?

I have a little trouble being convinced the wilting is simply from too much rain.(lest it was overwatered on top of natural rainfall)
Other trees there wilting from too much rain too?

The tree was planted over a year ago and the other two trees planted at the same time are fine.
This is the only tree or plant on the property that has this problem.
