P85 newer cutoff coil maybe?

I recently heard from what I'll consider a trustable source that a coil from a newer Partner cutoff saw should mount on my P-85. Thoughts? Model that might work?? Anyone try this?

Lets just say that I've fallen out of love with germanium...(named prufrex). I'll go throw the idea by the guys at RD Faulkners and see what they think. I think they are stalling to save me $$$.

Seems like every time I go to look for a part.. knowing beyond full well what it is... the guy always says...
Do ya have your saw? I'll have to look at it.
Avoiding taking the saw and dragging it from place to place...
