Working on a little chipper project on my own and am wondering what would be the best paint removal for a old whisper chipper. It has been painted several times and the paint on it is not sticking very well. BTW, what would the year on a model #JEX 10919?

Shot/sand blast

Blast it off with walnut shell or glass bead media , less wear on the old metal. After you're finished get some good primer on it right away, this will prevent oxidation from re-occuring.
