try looking into this stuff called Herculiner. It comes in different colors. It is a tough textured surface, kind of similar to a spray on bedliner. It wont scratch and takes a beating. You can apply it with a small roller and a small paint brush. Alot of people are using it for lining the inside of jeeps. I am doing to my jeep soon. I think it would look good and last longer than spray paint.
